The Men of HAYS Cleaning
Art, with Black Jack and Jesse
Behind every great man are his felines.
Many of our customers have not had the opportunity to meet Art James, husband to Mary James and the Vice President of HAYS Cleaning. Mary fondly refers to Art as her “numbers guy.”
Art has been the inspiration for the Helping Our Heroes program, which gifts 3 free hours of housecleaning to local Veterans during the Memorial Day and Veterans Day seasons. Art is a Veteran who served in Vietnam. He has experienced some disabilities related to his service and has been fortunate to receive benefits to help compensate for the challenges he continues to face.
As part of his healing, Art and Mary adopted a couple of cats. As any cat lover knows, there is nothing quite like “kitty therapy.” Art regularly sports one or more of the couple’s four cats: Jesse, Josie-Girl, Cute Kitty and Black Jack.
Old and New
They all have stories to tell, the old and new veterans.
Just listening to a veteran can mean the world to them.
Have a seat and let me tell you mine.
Remember to make some time for them.

Memorial Day: 3 Free Hours of Cleaning
HAYS Cleaning will provide a complimentary 3-hour residential housecleaning for Veterans of the United States Military, spouses of active servicemen and parents of veterans or servicemen.
To take advantage of this offer, please contact HAYS Cleaning by calling 708-598-3819 or emailing mary@hayscleaning.com by June 20, 2014, to schedule your appointment for services within 30 days.
Veteran or current Military Identification must be provided to receive the complimentary cleaning. Limit one complimentary cleaning per household. Offer valid for new and existing residential customers. (Service to locations outside of our normal service area may be
required to purchase additional service hours.)
HAYS Cleaning sponsors Care Package items for Soldiers stationed overseas. HAYS Cleaning partners with the St. Patricia Holy Name Society, a 501(c)(3), in Hickory Hills, IL, to collect and ship items to the troops. Monetary donations are accepted and may be made payable to “St. Patricia HNS.” Items may also be dropped off at the HAYS Cleaning office during normal business hours.
All supporters will be listed on the “Helping Our Heroes” website, sponsored by HAYS Cleaning, at www.helping-our-heroes.com.
We all Cry
We all cry for those we have lost.
Remember that all gave something.
But some gave all.
