HAYS Gives Thanks in Hickory Hills

On Tuesday, November 12, 2013, the City of Hickory Hills held the “Annual Free Turkey Dinner: for all residents. The event was held at the Hickory Hills Community Center, located at 7800 W. 89th Place, in Hickory Hills.

HAYS Cleaning donated cupcakes for all of the residents to enjoy. It was our way of wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

Jim Kruse, from AdoptaPlatoon, was also on hand to collect postage donations to help send care packages to the troops. (HAYS Cleaning partners with Jim, and the St. Patricia Holy Name Society, to help send care package items to the troops. This season, HAYS is collecting Slim Jim items for the troops. Veterans: Above & Beyond Award

HAYS Cleaning is looking for local Veterans who have gone “Above & Beyond” in their lives to help others. We would like area citizens to sponsor another Veteran who may be needful of 15 hours of free cleaning services.

To nominate a fellow Veteran, please submit the following by
December 2, 2013:

Veteran Name
Branch of Service, Rank & years served
Medals, awards during service
Explain in 250-500 words why this Veteran is deserving of this award. What have they done that is “Above & Beyond” in their life that you can share with us? How have they been an example in their lives – both in and since the service? Have they been active in any community or volunteer organizations? Are they
facing health challenges or financial hardhips?
Nominations may be emailed to mary@hayscleaning.com or mailed to HAYS Cleaning at 9428 S. 78th Ct., Unit #3, Hickory Hills, IL 60457

Winner will be announced by December 4, 2013; service to be provided by
December 31, 2013. Both the person nominating the Veteran and the Veteran must
be available for photos. Winner must allow before and after photos of residence cleaned. Photos and submission information will be used on HAYS Cleaning and
Helping Our Heroes websites, as well as other social media websites.

Veterans: FREE 3-hour cleaning!

HAYS Cleaning, Inc. will provide a FREE 3-Hour residential
housecleaning for United States Military Veterans, spouses of
active servicemen and parents of Veterans or servicemen.

Veteran or current Military Identifi cation must be provided to receive the
complimentary cleaning. Limit one complimentary cleaning per household.
Offer valid for new and existing residential customers. Service to locations
outside of our normal service area may be required to purchase additional
service hours. Contact HAYS Cleaning to schedule an appointment by calling

HAYS Cleaning has partnered with the St. Patricia Holy Name Society to
send Slim Jim products to the troops. HAYS Cleaning will match your Slim
Jim donations! Donations may be dropped off at the HAYS Cleaning office,
Monday-Friday, from 3pm to 9pm; or at Roberts Road Bible Church, Monday-
Friday, from 9am to 3pm. Financial donations may also be sent; make checks
payable to “St. Patricia HNS” and write “Slim Jims for Soldiers” in the
memo area. Checks may be mailed to HAYS Cleaning.

All supporters will be listed on the “Helping Our Heroes” website,
sponsored by HAYS Cleaning, at http://www.helping-our-heroes.com.

Roberts Road Bible Church is a “Light House,” located at 8419 S.
